Digital format
We are committed to providing the best possible listening experience, which is why we offer downloads exclusively in WAV format. WAV is a lossless, uncompressed format, delivering superior sound quality compared to compressed formats like MP3. This ensures you enjoy audio fidelity similar to a physical CD, with 16-bit and 44.1 kHz resolution. Although WAV files are larger than compressed formats, we believe that its high sound quality justifies the extra size, while also being widely compatible.
Corrupted downloads and glitches
Please inform us if any issue arises with your downloaded file(s) or if the downloaded file(s) are not what you requested, and we will assist promptly with replacement file(s). You can reach us by emailing office@oxmose.com.
Download issues
A download may not initiate due to a slow connection speed or low bandwidth. Typically, slow download speeds are caused by local or network problems. For example, dial-up connections may result in long download times for even a few tracks, while broadband users can experience issues at various points between their ISP and our servers, which can slow speeds. These issues are usually temporary and resolve themselves quickly, so we recommend trying again later.
Download interruption
It typically signifies a temporary connection problem either locally or on your network. You may have to wait for the issue to be automatically resolved, but you should be able to try again after restarting your router and reopening your browser. If the problem persists, or if the download button is no longer visible, please email us.
Unzip a download
If your download does not automatically unzip, here are instructions on how to decompress the zip file.
For PC users, locate the Zip file you wish to unzip, right-click on it, and select "Extract All." In the "Select a File and Destination" window, click "browse" to choose where the unzipped files should be saved (Windows typically unzips compressed files to their original location). Finally, click "Extract" to unzip the files.
For Mac users, navigate to the Zip file's location in Finder and double-click on it. Archive Utility will launch automatically, creating a folder containing the zip file's contents within the original folder.
